Sam Dhillon

Hello everyone! My name is Sam, and I am a native English speaker born and raised in Singapore. I travel between countries for work and I am currently based in Asia. I hold a bachelor's degree in law and I currently work in finance.

I am passionate about travel and languages. I speak English fluently and I am learning French. I have many other hobbies and interests, such as reading, film, politics, history, and teaching. I am also passionate about football, fantasy novels and scuba diving. I have been teaching English for 2 years and have met amazing people helping them achieve their language goals.

I have had a different range of students, from beginner to advanced. My experiences have taught me that everyone has different learning styles. For that reason, I use a variety of teaching methods and materials to provide a complete learning experience. Some people need more structured grammar lessons, others interactive. I will structure lessons according to individual needs and interests.
I have created presentations of material in which we can review grammar, expand vocabulary, speaking, and writing. If you want to practice with a book, we can also do that. For advanced students, we can have conversations and practice writing. I can also provide feedback on your most common mistakes at the end so that you are more aware of them. I can correct your texts or essays.
