As a general rule, I tailor my lesson format to each individual student. I tend to use an initial online meeting to establish the student's preferred learning methods and then develop lesson plans which complement their preferences. I enjoy designing creative and interactive lessons which will allow my students to engage with the content and I have countless further resources which I provide to my students for them to use outside of our lessons. Having tutored for several years at secondary school, college, and degree level students, I understand the intricacies of the diverse curricula and the best ways to navigate the learning pathway for any given student. I always provide my students with lessons which encourage them to harness their knowledge to develop a wider understanding of the lesson content, using diverse digital media and online tools to enhance their understanding and focus within the lessons. I also encourage students to contact me outside of our lessons with questions and queries and I have found that comfortable and consistent communication has allowed my previous students to thrive. Having sat through boring and monotonous lessons and lectures during my own academic journey, I am well aware of which teaching methods provide the best opportunity for learning and enjoyment. As such, I am confident that I can establish an excellent rapport with any student at all levels of study to give them a platform to achieve their personal goals whilst growing their interest and enthusiasm for the subject at hand. I have found that my students particularly appreciate my relaxed and flexible approach to their learning requirements, this goes hand in hand with my preference for the use of alternative educational media for the consolidation of lesson content. I can guarantee that I will help students make the most of our time together and that they will come to enjoy and understand the subject on a wider level.
