I have experience in online tutoring English Literature and English Language subjects to students in KS4 (aged 14-16, although I am happy to teach younger students), during which all of my students achieved minimum A grades in their GCSEs in 2020.
I am confident in teaching English as a language to students, as a native English speaker myself, and I aim to format my lessons completely tailored to what my student needs - whether it's learning basic or advanced vocabulary of specific themes, learning how to speak more fluently and coherently, or brushing up on grammar skills.
As a current Master's student with a Bachelor's degree too, I have strong qualitative and communication skills, and I am keen to help students (as a student myself!) to be more confident reading, writing, and speaking in English.
In terms of schedule, I am available on weekdays and weekends and I would be happy to discuss the exact dates and times which suit us both. I would schedule lessons to be 1 hour long as I believe that this time is best for students to stay motivated whilst learning, and I encourage students to book regular lessons with me so that I can track their development and progress. To ensure that you benefit from my lessons, I will establish goals for you to complete in our lessons and then plan future lessons from your feedback.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions as I would be more than happy to answer!
Salma.
