Depending on what level the student is at within their studies, lessons were very depending on what suits them. If they have little knowledge on the subject, we can start from the beginning covering their basic knowledge on the topics before moving to more complex ones if they have basic knowledge we can we can proceed by learning different methods to retain the knowledge and begin to adjust to the more ”difficult” topics within the subject. If the student is feeling more confident with the subjects we will go over what they think they need help with, doing small short quizzes in order for me to understand what areas may be confusing to them. Methods that have been scientifically proven to help students get the highest grades will be used after thorough research by me. Each lesson will be planned ahead of time and there will be a certain number objectives expected to be met by the end of each session. These lessons are designed to be less like a classroom setting and more like a slower paced revision session to avoid any excess stress or pressure on the student that they may be feeling at school. The one-to-one aspect helps the sole focus on this student , allowing them to feel more comfortable asking questions and expressing their confusion on the topics, therefore making much faster progress than they would at school, which is vital to achieve the highest grades possible. The subject will feel less like a chore and I am hoping to be able to, unlock a feeling of genuine interest for the subject within your child making it much easier to retain the information that is being handed to them.
