I can speak 4 languages fluently (English, german, arabic, french) and have had extensive experience translating and interpreting using all four languages as a telephone interpreter for 2 years working at chatlas interpreting. I also took both german and french as a level subjects and achieved grades of A (german) and B (french) in my exams. I am therefore also very familiar with the academic curriculum and can help those taking german or french as a level or gcse subjects.

My teaching style will be centred around getting the students comfortable with speaking the language in a way that feels natural and casual to them. I have found this to be the best way to raise the students confidence in believing that they can master the language and get to a level where they can feel comfortable using the language in day to day conversations. The key is to simplify the grammar aspect by making it as immersive as possible through using videos, presentations or little games which make it a more engaging experience for the student, instead of just giving them long tables of grammar to memorise which can be quite overwhelming and intimidating for the student especially at a more beginner level.
