I aim to deliver interactive and thought-provoking lessons. By triggering students to think critically, they would process the learning materials more deeply. According to the level of processing theory, people tend to have better memory for materials that are processed deeply rather than shallowly. Thus, I would frequently ask students meaningful questions. This is to check their understanding and to ensure the lesson is interactive.

Regarding the content for each lesson, I will adjust it according to the student's previous performance and academic goals. I would explain the key concepts thoroughly, provide examples, guide students to answer past exam questions and demonstrate useful exam skills. In terms of the format, I would deliver the lecture using PowerPoint either online or in person.

I have more than 3 years of experience in coaching, which is transferrable to the tutoring role. I have taught students ranging from kindergarten to secondary schools to play Go, a traditional Chinese chess, at the Smart Go Academy in Hong Kong. I have coached players ranging from 6 to 70 years how to play table tennis in Wales and Northern Ireland. I developed good communication and adaptability from my previous coaching experience. I believe this will enable me to provide tailor-made service to my students.
