I believe that gaining your interest and enthusiasm is the key. I will find out what your areas of interest are ( Hobbies , passions etc) and build our activities around these. We are all different and learn in different ways and the relationship built between student and teacher is so important in establishing what works best to help you learn best. Also it should be fun!!!! The brain retains far more information when it is not stressed and under pressure, so I believe in making our sessions enjoyable too. My personal areas of interest are in creative pursuits- art, craft, music and movement- all of which are great at reinforcing information learnt. So be prepared for fun, interesting sessions and learning things in a way that will make them stick in your memory for a long time!!
