Salahuddin in a nutshell
I mainly used to tell the students whenever they are studying mathematics, they had to focus on these three pointers:

1. Understanding the terms
2. Formulas
3. Steps and Calculations.

Once you will understand the terms say for example, Quadratic Equation so if you know what this actually means then only we can find the roots of a given equation for which we have to remember the formulas.
