Before, I was a a private tutor just touching the basics of tutoring. I was teaching gcse students mostly and I had the most success with them and having them achieve higher grades. Furthermore my teaching style was much more suited to them however that’s not to say there isn’t versatility. I will always go over a point until it is completely understand as brushing over topics is not learning. I will use my time wisely when explaining content, not rushing over anything however not wasting time either. I want students to want to come to tuition lessons as a passion for something is needed if you want to succeed. If you’re passionate about learning then you have your chances increased by a large margin. Aside from a teaching standpoint my relationship with students has always been strong. A student has never been afraid to say “ I don’t get it “ or “ can you repeat that for me” or anything in between. There has never been single student that I have personally tutored that has hesitated in asking for further assistance. Everyone may be walking the same path however all at a different pace though this does not change my goal of making sure they all make it to the finish line.
