I am a fully qualified teacher with 12 years’ experience teaching GCSE and A-level as both a private tutor and lecturer. I am an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified individual, working at leading top 20 vocational UK academic institutions, who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the education.
I believe that given the right encouragement and learning environment, any student can achieve much higher standards than they thought possible and that my experience and love of the profession can help to attain this. Establishing a supportive relationship with not only students but also their parents and fellow teachers all with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem.
Teaching students from various social and cultural backgrounds. I am professional Educator with diverse experience and strong track record fostering child-centred curriculum and student creativity. Currently tutoring A level Physics & GCSE Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Mathematics, English, Geography and History including KS3. I have worked with students from Level 4 (first year degree equivalent) to milestone 3 (roughly ages 7-8).
I am patient and understanding and will happily go through things as many times as is needed for my students to fully understand. I love helping people develop their full potential by recognising and reinforcing their strengths and building their ability and confidence in weaker areas, to the point where learning becomes a joyful experience rather than a chore. Education really can be fun if it is approached in a way that suits the individual. Every single student is different, so it is vital to have a flexible teaching approach in every case, whether in a group context or individually.
