Throughout my time in school, I took part in the Young Interpreters Programme. This programme was designed for students with low levels of English speaking abilities. Therefore, I decided to volunteer and help educate and do my best to academically support them through various tasks and exercises. Each interpreter was allocated one student, and it was my duty to ensure I was prepared, organized, and ready to teach my student. To further educate myself, I also took some of my own time out and participated in workshops to expand my skills, knowledge, and understanding.
Currently, I am studying for a degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which has further equipped me with the pedagogical skills needed to support diverse learners. I have also obtained a DBS check, ensuring that I can work safely and effectively with children. My commitment to making a difference in the lives of those needing support with their English speaking abilities drives my passion for teaching. I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I am dedicated to providing the necessary guidance and encouragement to help them thrive.
