I introduce the topic first, then provide some activities to complete on it, and then allow the students 4-5 minutes to respond to my questions.
When I go over the answers with them, this will demonstrate to me how well they understood the topic; if not, I will go over it with them again.
If there is time, I'll play them some music or assign them a fun assignment.
I can also introduce the second topic. I'll start by explaining it to them, and then I'll offer them some more activities to complete. When the allotted time has passed, I'll start marking their responses and discussing the material with them.
