My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive and tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. I start by assessing the areas you need most help with, whether it’s algebra, geometry or statistics. From there, I will create a personalised plan, with the help of you, to address your specific challenges while building your confidence in the subject.

Each lesson typically begins with a brief review of key concepts and going through any concerns with any of the content we’ve been through together already. This is followed by a thorough explanation of new material. I break down complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps, ensuring you fully understand each concept before moving. After that, we work through a variety of practice problems together, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned. Before the lesson ends, I’ll give you some practice questions to work on by yourself at home to ensure you fully understand. I encourage questions throughout, and we discuss any misunderstanding to ensure clarity. This hands-on approach helps solidity your knowledge and builds problem-solving skills essential for the GCSE exams.

I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I adjust my teaching style depending on your preferred learning method. Some students benefit from visual aids and diagrams, while others prefer written explanations or interactive discussions. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace.

With a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and as a current dentistry student, I bring both academic expertise and a passion for helping others.
