I will work by, first, reading a paper you have already answered as to make notes on what you excel at and what requires development. Most of the time, it isn't that you’re “bad at the subject”, but more that you haven’t found an essay structure that makes sense to you. I will strive to make the subject fun, be it recommending movie versions of a text (to help with comprehending a plot) and finding interesting further reading.
Further reading may include essays I have found that will broaden your mind to certain topics and improve your academic writing.
We will focus on a question each lesson and craft the perfect response so you can accurately view what is required of you within your subject’s exam.
We will examine mark schemes- an integral part often overlooked i teaching. This helped me greatly; mark schemes are a checklist of exactly what is required of you!
Lastly, I aim to spark a real passion for literature. This is the best way to succeed in essay writing. Essay writing requires real creativity in your analyses to achieve high marks and I’m determined to find you the write book to start spark your imagination!

I did AQA at gcse, AQA for A level language and Edexel for A level Literature so I have an understanding of different mark schemes and tasks.
