I work closely with my students to assess what works best for them as every person is different in how they learn. Whether it means making something interactive, creating hypothetical situations to apply law, practice past papers or just a simple conversation to bounce back thoughts about how something works, whatever it may be, i’ll make sure you won’t be left feeling confused. I will take the time to simplify or explain in detail and make sure you are happy with a particular subject before moving onto another topic. I test students to review their written skills and to assess whether they grasped the subject. I ensure that you understand how the law works rather than just re-iterate material or law as I believe that a person who understands how something works will remember it better than just trying to memorise something they don’t understand. I am very flexible in my teaching approach and adapt to your needs. I tailor the teaching around what you need and what you want. I want to make sure you get the best possible results and that means working with you to ascertain what topics you need to cover and what materials you have so we can work with your syllabus for ease as the best way of tutoring is integrating what you’re being taught at your school/university and reinforcing with private tutoring. Happy to come up with a personal learning plan to discuss weaknesses and strengths so we can allocate time correctly to maximum efficiency.
