I aim to provide engaging, student-focused sessions at any level which can prioritise exam skills, grammar, conversation, literary analysis, written expression (English), or critical theory (English) as the student wishes. I am happy to work either in person (near Ross-on-Wye) or online, and can teach individually or in small groups. I have previously led group revision sessions for GCSE students, in which I aimed to foster a fun, collaborative learning environment where enjoyment was directly linked to engagement. I also have experience in teaching English as a foreign language, and can offer intensive sessions for those with higher levels of proficiency who wish to improve pronunciation or specialist vocab. I have some experience and understanding of working with neurodivergent students, particularly in the case of ADHD. I recently graduated from University of Southampton with a BA degree in Film & English, and I also have a starter qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have good knowledge of both French (A Level/C1) and Spanish (B2), having completed courses in each and studied for a year in Barcelona. I also have experience as a French Tutor for Beginner-Intermediate students.
