The lessons will focus on the student obtaining a full and deep understanding of the content in the areas that they require the most help in. I strongly believe the best way to excel at mathematics and physics is to fully understand the topic rather than just memorisation, as for more challenging questions, a wider and deeper understanding is required. I will help students with this by focusing on the links between different topics and developing ideas from first principles and providing simple to understand proofs for the content the student is learning.

After developing the understanding, we will then focus on improving problem solving ability and technique through the use of more challenging questions, this is especially important for university entrance exams and interviews.

Having sat and performed very well in all of the exams I am preparing students for, I will also provide and develop specific exam technique.
