I am young and friendly and I am very enthusiastic to share this with students.

My passion for English started from a young age as I loved to read, and very much still do. Because of my vast reading knowledge alongside my own education, I have learnt how to compare and critique varying book styles through the writers use of imagery, contextual knowledge and descriptive words. I also have the ability to infer to deeper meanings behind poems.

I learnt my love for psychology through partaking in the tests that were set out in the theories learnt in psychology. This meant it increased my understanding of the subject by relating it to myself. Which is what I would also incorporate into my lessons, were will go through theories such as the working memory model where we will test how much information your brain can hold as well as what type of attachment you have, which will teach you a lot about you relationships with others, especially how you handle your emotions around them.

On the more theoretical side I have the knowledge to cover approaches such as: memory, attachment, biopsychology, psychopathology, approaches in psychology, research methods, social influence, issues and debates in psychology, relationships, stress, and forensic psychology. I have also greater knowledge particularly in the field of counselling and psychotherapy, having completed my undergraduate degree in this area, achieving first class honours.

A key factor to tailoring my lessons to the student would be to take part in a learning test, this will enlighten us by showing what specific way you best learn as a student. This will effectively help me to tailor my lessons to be most beneficial to you to understand. It will in turn teach you how to efficiently revise for you own purposes as well.

Despite having very little experience as a teacher, I have coached children and understand what is required to keep individuals engaged. Having also recently completed high school and college myself, I am also well versed in the concurrent knowledge of what next steps to take in regards to future studies.
