My lessons are fun based to enjoy to learn . I modal out examples until students are confident . I am very practical hands on things use pedagogy methods link with real life experiences .
My teaching is visual (Pie Corbetts) talk for writing I believe that learners ‘ require extra additional methods to support their skills . These skills support their writing and consolidate their prior knowledge .
Over the years of my teaching I have come across that every learner is individual with their own learning barriers so therefore their learning should be planned according to their learning needs and tailored for their suitable outcome . As a professional experienced tutor I believe students learning should be fun and enjoyable learning where they feel confident and participate and engage throughout and a positive contribution leads to a success to achieve their learning goals .
An assessment for learning is also important I believe this should be in place before an activity which clearly gives a tutor an idea of students independent learning outcomes and tutor plans according to their levels in performance management and carry out an assessment s in professional development throughout their learning journey .
In terms of identifying students critical learning areas it is important that these should be recognised and adjusted as soon as possible through construction of learning and scaffolding to fill up any open leaning gaps before moving on to next steps of learning .
This can be done through audit assessments.
