Saba in a nutshell
Sometimes all a child needs is a much more focused 1-1 approach away from a larger classroom environment to really ensure they are grasping concepts they may otherwise struggle with in mainstream classroom environments, so basic maths equations can be broken down into several steps to develop a more defined understanding of how to answer these styles of questions with ease.

Therefore I focus on delivering lessons specific to the suitability of your child’s needs! Bespoke 1-1 delivery of lessons can be informed through any information guardians may feel relevant to include pre lesson initiation, or through me getting to know your child through a free induction session (either in person for those based in Birmingham, or online) to get to know each other a little better and help a student feel more comfortable in engaging, alongside helping identify areas of weakness to focus on during lessons.

Lesson formats therefore can be a variety of activities, ranging from:

1) focusing on a more heavily pictorial based approach through drawing diagrams to illustrate questions, and getting students to eventually develop confidence in creating these images themselves to help understand the way in which questions are to be answered, slowly moving to answering questions without pictures to eventually grasp concepts more challenging for them pre initiation.
*NOTE* for in person sessions for students based in Birmingham, materials such as building blocks (to visually construct basic addition/ subtraction formulas) and their own mini whiteboards will be used to help enforce confidence for a child to independently support their learning once confident enough. If a student feeling motivated to answer questions and attending sessions is of more difficulty, then additional arrangements can be made, e.g: creating reward charts for each session to build up to mini prizes to drive motivation.

And do not worry! Any additional materials for in person teaching I may feel are suited to help develop understanding are all provided!
