I have been tutoring for over a year now and understand the differences between each individual and how their needs need to be met when learning. For example, through verbal communication or visualising with shapes and colours etc. I am very familiar with different exam boards for mathematics as I tutor students doing OCR, AQA, Edexcel etc. I teach, for each student, 1 hour a week, and use questions the previous lesson as a quick starter to help refresh the pupils memory and to make sure they have not forgotten the skills and knowledge learnt.
