I have been a sailing instructor for two years, and this unique experience has given me a skillset which allows me to present lessons in an engaging format which lets students discover a passion for their work. I have first-hand experience with the latest GCSE English Language and English Literature curricula, having scored in the 92nd percentile of my cohort for English Language, and the 88th percentile for English Literature. As a private tutor, my attention is diverted completely to you. I not only help you with areas in which you struggle but also develop your strengths even further. Having taught students of a range of ages, I can confidently adapt my lessons to your needs, basing my plans on what you want to specialise in and encouraging you to reach your full potential as an English student. All lesson timings are flexible, and sessions in textual analysis will take the form of identifying key messages and themes, before analysing, and then evaluating, the text in depth.
