In all my life's experience, I've found that the quickest way to learn is by doing it yourself. My method is simple: explain the concept in a wide variety of ways that you will be able to understand, and then have you work at the problems until you understand the topic completely. I love giving feedback on where to improve the process and how to strengthen your understanding on the subject.
