We will make sure to touch on areas the student struggled on briefly through sessions to ensure they don’t get overwhelmed. There will be a quiz at the end to see how well the student did and depending on how many right answers they would get correct they wouldn’t have to touch up on it as much. Constantly repeating these questions allows the child to remember the methods on working the equations out. Rather than doing it all in one sum and them forgetting. Research has been done showing repeating these can cause long term storage leaving the child with a good foundation for more advanced maths in secondary school. If sessions are held face-to-face a reward system could be installed to keep them motivated thought out sessions. If it was online I could keep them motivated through having quizzes and games to make learning fun and not a chore.
