I have found my lessons are most effective when I introduce or expand on a skill and then the players get the freedom to try it out for themselves. My sessions are focused and will challenge you to use the what we learn in different scenarios on the court.

Skill development I will use a vast variety of resources form different coaches an online but for learning or improving understanding of the rules I will use up to date research. Having played basketball since the beginning of basketball school I have well rounded knowledge about basketball. Making it into the Scottish National Basketball team 4 times throughout the ages of U12 through to U16 I not only know how to get better at basketball but how to become a better team player, by sharpening and becoming aware of your own skills. Haven began coaching in 2020 i have now coached for 3 years and have fallen in love more than I expected. I began as an assistant coach and moved into a Head coach position the following year, where I learnt a lot about myself and if coaching was for me. in the year 2023 I took on the responsibility of becoming an assistant coach where I tried to maximize my potential by leading skill sessions every week throughout the season.

Entering my fourth year of Basketball Coaching I have began understanding and developing my personal coaching skills. I believe I am well spoke and love to encourage and install confidence in the players I am working with. I believe I can adapt to the skill set of the player and always give the student the same respect i would give anybody else, while still ensuring everything is being organised responsibly.
