Ryan Neal

Hi everybody,

I'm Ryan, and I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher. I also have three years of experience working in a mainstream London secondary school. In addition to this, I have experience tutoring both in-person and online, as I have been doing this successfully for the past three years.

I am also a fully qualified archaeologist and I have excavated all over the world! So if you love history and archaeology, send me a message, as I have many stories from my travels as an archaeologist.

I am a very friendly and open teacher who wants my students to enjoy their classes and encourages them to take their education as far as they possibly can. I also have lots of experience working with people who have Special educational needs, these include but are not limited to, people who have dyslexia (which I also have myself, so I understand the challenges very well), ASD (Autism), ADHD (Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity) and SEMH (Social, emotional, mental health). So if this is something that describes you I may be the ideal tutor to help you reach your goals as I have a track record of doing just that.

My lessons will be well-planned and professional and be similar to what you might expect in a language school. If we are working online I will often use new technologies and fun software to make the lessons exciting and engaging for my students. In the past, I have used Kahoot, jam board and a number of other platforms.

I am keen to understand how YOU learn best so I will adapt my lessons to suit how you like to learn things. Whatever works for you, I will try to add to my lessons so that they suit you specifically and ensure you get as much as you can from each lesson.
