Hello! My Name is Ruva Nikki and I am a Chemistry tutor specifically targeted for Year 7-9s doing KS3 Chemistry. I totally understand that Chemistry can be very difficult and would hate to see other students lose passion towards a subject that otherwise is actually very fun!

In my sessions I will spend around half of the lesson learning content on a topic(s) then will really push you by giving GCSE style questions to have a practice at. In the beginning I will expect that you find the questions to be difficult and that is totally okay?? Overtime you should see how much easier the questions become and you will feel how prepared you are when you start GCSE Chemistry.

I have unique teaching methods however I constantly convey the importance of understanding how to apply topics to exam questions as just understanding certain topics will not be enough to achieve those top grades. I will also never rush my students or make them do topics they simply are not ready for making them uncomfortable but they will still constantly be pushed and motivated and most importantly reassured??!!

I am young myself, being just 16 years old, and so I feel like I am able to connect with the students on a deeper level. I was also somebody who struggled with Chemistry a lot when I was in KS3 until I started finding new ways to understand topics which has helped me achieve my Grade 8 in GCSE Mocks with a predicted Grade 9.
