I always believe what you give out is what people take in. Through my experiences as a tutor, I have learnt to be patient with students. They won't understand everything at a go, making the lessons funny and sometimes thinking outside the box has helped me understand my students more when it comes to their characters, flaws and strengths. Making them friends improved my relationship with them, taking away their fear and cracking jokes during classes has brightened the lessons. My teaching techniques is not only teaching using books , but also using physical examples, songs , stories games etc . This method has made my student perform exemplary well because of the active reminder. Using different formulas in math has also been one tool that has improved my students during math lessons. Them learning from their fellow students helps them remember and master different easy techniques of handling questions. Usually I don't believe in Just tutoring, I practice building foundation to a child, starting a from scratch with a child, not just teaching but also improving their characters into a positive attitude that can appreciate corrections and sacrifice for one to achieve. This technique has helped my students develop a positive attitude towards maths. Motivation is a key that a teacher should not forget when my students performed or rather improved, I motivate them with simple gifts like chocolates etc . This builds a stronger motive for a child to improve more and more. I also check their homework and class work to see how far they are at in class so I can also know where his weak units in maths are .
