Having taught for 19 years and being head of KS4 for many of those years in an outstanding school I am an expert at teaching the skills needed for each of the questions in English paper 1 and English paper 2 and also literature paper 1 and paper 2 covering many of the texts, over a range of exam specifications.
We take small, thorough steps to develop great progress and to build confidence.
Having practiced each skill, from creative and analytical writing to unseen poetry, students are able to build their knowledge of each exam paper in English, enhanced through modelling of answers, scrutinizing work schemes and receiving weekly feedback and targets for progress.
