I learned Mandarin Chinese from native speakers. I then went on to study the language in depth. I have instructed many students from different countries in the basics and more complex aspects of the language. I have also taught native speakers to read and write in their own language.

This instruction has been completed with individuals and groups of students. Many who have moved to China as teachers of English.

I started my learning in 2002 and have continued until this day.

I teach using many methods. Some digital, some manual, some physical and some practical. This can be done face to face. It can be done at home or at a location suited to your circumstances and geographical location. I am happy to complete lessons online. I can modify this to suit your specific needs so that the method serves you in the best way possible to advance your skills quickly and to help you to have the practical use you desire.

My employment over the last 8 years has involved using the language as part of my Job role. I continue to learn as we all do even in our own language. This process has inspired me to learn other languages and cultures because I enjoy sharing and receiving.

This has widened my understanding of people and enriched my life. I would say enhanced the human experience. I accept all language speakers as I also teach English as a foreign language. I look forward to hearing your requests.
