I am a Year 13 student at Kings College School Wimbledon with 2 Years of Tutoring Experience, 12 9-Grades at GCSE and 4 A* A-Level Predicted Grades (in Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Chemistry). I understand what it takes to achieve high grades in the most efficient way possible.
I teach my students to learn content from first principles. Fundamental understanding is the most important step to improving problem solving skills, therefore I heavily base my lessons around learning to solve problems from the bottom up instead of the typical school method of learning set steps that do not apply to the questions that set a A grade apart from an A* grade. Once I establish that my student has understood the fundamentals, the next step is focusing on varied practice instead of repetition.
