I've had over 100+ hours of tutoring experience. I believe the best way for a student to master any subject in science is to be interested and practice the right methods, so my lesson would normally consist of:
- Brief introduction, and answering any question that the student may have;
- Introduction to new topic, whether suggested by the student before hand, or one that I feel useful to go through;
- Questions that gets progressively harder, with my guide if the student runs into any confusion;
- Recap and consolidation of the material covered;
- Homework to be done after the lesson, and marked by me.
The lessons may take place over Zoom, or in your home (if you live around London). If they take place over Zoom, a dynamic whiteboard can be used where both the student and I can write on and see each other's work.
I have had experiences of revising for the GCSEs, A-Levels and preparing for university interviews, so I have a big bank of questions at hand that covers all topics in GCSE and A-Level sciences across all exam boards.
