I have been playing guitar for nearly 5 years. For my online lessons I will be going through the grade books and teaching them performance skills and key things they need to know to prepare for a guitar exam. I will teach them rhythm and lead guitar depending on their preference. I can teach them how to improvise and do this with the music knowledge of their scales. There will be books that they need to buy for the exam but I can send digital copies if needed. I am a very warm and friendly person so I will make sure my student is comfortable around me and feels they can express themselves. There will always be a main focus to the lessons on specific things they need to work on. So the lessons have structure to them. There will be something they can go away and practise after every lesson to continue improving as a guitarist. My lessons will help them become more confident as a performer and guitarist and I will always encourage them to fulfil their potential as a guitarist. If you are a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge these lessons will be perfect for you to advance and improve. I am knew to teaching guitar but I have lots of experience working with children at schools and leisure centres. So I know what it takes to engage a child in the lesson and how to help them.
