My main focus is to give you lessons that are tailored for you, as I know that everyone learns differently and at different paces. I tend to teach with the following format:
- Begin lesson by asking you what you know/understand of the subject already. This helps me figure out where we need to begin.
- Then I move onto teaching the concepts. This involves lots of diagrams, drawings and visual aids. I plan to teach you concepts in a simple and straightforward way, tackling it from different angles if needed.
- We will then practice our understanding through verbal questions and written past exam papers.
- I can give you questions to work on in your own time and will mark them for our next lesson so that we can go through anything you particularly struggled with.

I am also very happy to adapt my lesson plan to suit your needs, for example if you have a certain area you would like to cover on the day.
Along with lesson content, I will recommend you videos, books and other sources that I think are interesting and helped me with my studies. Hopefully these will make you inspired and put what you're learning about into a real world perspective.

I am very patient and my purpose is to ensure you feel happy and confident about concepts - so never be afraid to ask me to repeat something or let me know if you don't understand anything! I hope that as your tutor I can help you feel less daunted or down about your science, and start to feel confident and inspired.
