I believe in creating a good rapport with my students and helping them with specific struggles they may be facing at school. I’m extremely dedicated and will make sure to adapt my teaching to the students needs. I work at a primary school so have good experience with KS1 and KS2 children. I also have experience as a KS2 private maths tutor. I specialise in English and maths but if students are struggling with different subjects I’m more than competent to help and advise them in any area. I aim to give students helpful one on one learning sessions that are not readily available in the normal school day. I aim to create a fun and creative space for students to develop their academic abilities and provide them with skills that they can bring to lessons in school. I have experience with helping children that have learning difficulties and pride myself in being able to adapt the lessons so the content is more easily understood. I have an ability to identify challenges and/or gaps in a students knowledge so I can provide them with specific help and feedback. Lesson format wise, I communicate with students about issues they may be facing and find the best possible way to address them. This will change dependent on the child’s needs (whether they respond well to visual stimulation, repetitive activity, written tasks etc.)
