Ruben Kharod

I have a years experience tutoring students from an array of different backgrounds. I aim to tailor my lessons to the preferences of my students, as everyone learns differently. Broadly speaking, my lessons will be fun, interactive and are made with the students learning as the priority. I will be using presentations to enhance learning with visual aids. I will also be using an online whiteboard, in order for the student to answer questions themselves in a way that is easily accessible for everyone.
At GCSE level, I achieved a 9 and 8's in Mathematics and all science subjects respectively, going on to study Mathematics, Economics and Chemistry at A level achieving AAB respectively. I have always had a passion for the quantitative aspect of subjects and I feel problem solving comes natural to me. As a recipient of tutoring during my time at school, I know first hand what goes in to making a good and bad lesson. Subsequently, my lessons will focus on the needs of my students directly, taking their concerns into account. With regular students, I look to build knowledge week after week to a point where students feel proficient and comfortable with specific topics.
