As the founder of my school's chemistry society, I have fostered invaluable leadership skills. I gather student who share my passion for chemistry and we share opinions through presentations. I deliver regarding controversial pharmaceutical topics weekly. I have also held experiments publicly, such as one to investigate the placebo effect by monitoring changes in students' blood pressure after consuming decaffeinated coffee and caffeinated coffee in a blind test. These experiences taught me how to lead a team and use efficient organisational skills.

As a member of Model UN, I am acclimatised to drawing resolutions to reach a consensus as a group. The Model UN had allowed me to develop effective teamwork and communications skills that are essential to a tutor

As a school prefect, I promote corrective discipline with students to keep a positive environment within the school and as a tutor, I am aware of my authority; I understand I am not infallible as a person. I have learnt to put my students first, a quality that is vital.
