Currently, I am a volunteer learning facilitator, teaching Learning Strand 2 (LS 2) -
Scientific and Critical Thinking Skills under Junior High School, including Elementary Level, and a former Science Department Head/Coordinator in the out-reach program/DepEd-ALS. We also have many subjects that allow us to actualize and demonstrate teaching and facilitating learners in the community. With regards to knowledge in subject matter, I am incoming 4th year college education students who took many Science-related content such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Natural Sciences and more. I used variety of methods and format in teaching, employing and integrating educational approaches and philosophy, these are; common 5E's/7E's model, CERAE format, Bloom's Tax framework, PBL/PjBL, Ignatian Pedagogical Principles, etc. I utilize EdTech and electronic tools such as readily available virtual simulation, interactive video and activities, online educational game/gamification such as Kahoot, Quizziz and many more. I have been an active and responsible user of MS Office, Google Workspace and some AI app/tool to support the needs of my students. To sum up, I have list of approach and method I can use in teaching, in the classroom and for both classroom and learners' management. It will depends on their needs and interest as I agree in learner-centeredness with modification.
