Are you looking to improve your spoke language skills? Would you like to be able to hold a conversation or just have a chat that flows naturally in English or French? Then I'm the tutor for you!

I am a thirty-something Canadian living in London. I lived in the south of France for 7 years when I was a teenager and graduated lycée with a literary baccalaureate. I have a postgraduate degree in literature which I completed in 2022.

During my undergraduate degree in English literature, I volunteered as a peer-to-peer tutor and was later employed part-time by the university to help first, second and third years with research methodology and assignment writing. Up until 2020 I was a private, french-speaking nanny. Since leaving, I have been dedicating my time to my two young sons. Both of these experiences have challenged and developed my interpersonal skills with both adults and children! A large part of my job as a nanny was to help the children with their homework in both French and English and to help them become proficient in (mainly) spoken French.

I am looking to tutor conversational English or French but would also be open to tutoring up to GCSE or A level English Literature.

I have a wide range of interests and hobbies and love learning new things and meeting new and interesting people. Each lesson/conversation would be tailored to your interests and skill level and kept up to date with current affairs and culture.
