// Why me?... Throughout my career I have enjoyed witnessing the junior members of my teams flourish in their architectural careers under my guidance and I hope to extend this to other aspiring architects. I am patient and an excellent listener and offer a personalised approach to all students.
Recently, I have tutored two students who are undertaking their Professional Practice in Architecture (RIBA ‘Part 3’). One of these students has recently passed and qualified as an Architect while the other is achieving positive grades in their coursework modules. With both these students I have provided critical feedback on their case studies, coursework and Professional Experience Development Records to not only ensure they are covering the key competencies required to become an Architect, but exceeding them.
Previously I have tutored an architectural student on their university design project during their Masters course. This involved helping them understand the brief, develop concepts, design reviews and crit preparation. They went on to graduate with better than expected results. With this student I also helped them prepare their portfolio and application for the Masters course at Westminster University. I was also part of the 'Professional Training Group' at a previous architectural practice that involved running lunchtime sessions for the Architectural Assistants with the aim of preparing them for their Part 3 studies.
