With a solid foundation in both maths and physics from my degree in physics and strong A-level and GCSE background, I bring not only expertise but a deep appreciation for these subjects to my tutoring sessions. My style is informal and engaging, aiming to dismantle the traditional "textbook" approach that can sometimes make these topics feel overwhelming. I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and truly explore concepts without fear of judgment. By breaking down complex equations or theories into digestible, real-world examples, I help students connect abstract ideas to everyday experiences, which makes the subject matter more relatable and memorable.

I also encourage students to actively participate and explain their thought processes, which not only reinforces their understanding but also builds confidence. My goal is to help them find the fun and intrigue within maths and physics, showing them how these subjects relate to the world around them.

Despite being new to tutoring, I beleive I'm able to relate to students on a more personal level having been through the stress and difficulties of exams far more recently than other tutors! I understand the challenges the students face as well as the tricks needed to pick up extra marks.
