Whether I am teaching film writing, short stories, academic essays, novelists: I am hands-on, dynamic, and don't watch the clock. Over the course of my career I habe incredibly foryunate to be nominated for two Academy Awards, BAFTA's, and was the winner of the Best Screenplay from the Writers Guild of America for the HBO Film TAKING CHANCE. No matter what form (film, journalistic, Academic, Opinion, Novels, Short Stories, my focus is turning words inti images, sounds, feels, emotions. No matter how dry OR fantastical the writing is, my aim is to convey how to always keep your reader riveted. Make them intrigued. Make them want more. Open your imagination and turn it into words.
