Bachelor's Degree (studying): I completed a Post Graduate Degree in Education at the University of Strathclyde. I have since worked across both Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire councils.

I have been a primary school teacher for the last five years. However before qualifying as a primary school teacher I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports journalism.

I believe it is important to take the time to get to know the children within each class as only then can you tailor a lesson to meet their needs. I myself wasn’t the biggest fan of school as the lessons tended to follow the same pattern of working from textbooks. Therefore I took it upon myself to follow my real passion for literacy and helping others to become a teacher.

I like to find out what your previous knowledge is like and what you are like as a learner before composing a series of lessons.

Lessons range from online games and quizzes to working from worksheets, whiteboards and textbooks.

Everything is catered to the needs of the learner.
