I have over 20 years teaching experience, which range in teaching subjects such as Functional Skills both English and Maths from Entry level to level 2. Additionally I am experienced in teaching ESOL ( English as a second or foreign language) to both young people and adult learners. As a professional Teacher/Tutor, my role has expanded in teaching a variety of subjects such as Business Administration, Employability Skills, Digital Skills and Parenting Skills. All these skills has provided me the opportunity to enhance my creativity and knowledge in the field of teaching.

I am experienced in teaching online using the platform Zoom and Microsoft Teams. As a qualified Dyslexia Tutor, I concentrate on the student-centred method, where I prefer to ask questions, allow students to participate in discussions, as well as use different types of learning styles such as visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning.

The content of the lesson consists of identifying the learning objectives, plan to assess the student's understanding, I prefer to get the students active and involved in what they are learning, in order to build and enhance their existing skills, interests and understandings.
