I tailor my lessons to what the student needs after an initial discussion. I offer a friendly and personable approach to lessons to help the students to feel at ease and I believe that students learn better if they are relaxed and happy.
I have 2 years experience teaching phonics to young learners and teaching dyslexic students to read. For older students i can assist with dissecting and discussing various texts for GCSE, A-Level or University level English language and literature.
I have 20 years experience in sales, recruitment and personal assistant / business roles for corporate and private companies and therefore, i can coach graduates hoping to get started in the business world where English is a second language. I can help with CV writing, interview techniques, and use effective business communication.
