Background of me...
Having achieved 3 A*s at A level (in maths physics and chemistry) I'll share the best revision techniques I used that could benefit you too. I utilised my love of science at school as Head Girl to set myself the role of an ambassador for STEM, especially encouraging women, as the elected the school’s Chemistry and Physics subject prefect, leading year 11 set 1 chemistry practical classes. My university lab advisor is my current academic role model and I aspire to be part of her PhD team in future.
Experience...
I volunteered teaching high achieving year 10 and 11 students maths, physics and chemistry, helping them reach those top grades. I taught groups of 6 at a time, catering the lessons for the needs and wants of everyone in the group.
Lessons...
My lessons will be interactive, friendly and informal. We will cover content first, using the course textbooks, ensuring everything is covered to a high standard. We will use whiteboards to draw labelled diagrams. This will be followed by practice exam questions, analysing the mark schemes well.
