Roshni Suresh Babu

Hi, I'm Roshni Suresh Babu, a recent Durham law graduate and a future trainee solicitor!

Throughout my degree, I consistently ranked in the top 5% of my cohort (Top 25/400 students) and received an academic award for the top performers in Durham Law School. I have also ranked highly in individual modules such as Criminal Law (2/412 students) and Public International Law (5/125 students). I am currently on a break before I prepare for the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations, and I'm looking to pass on the knowledge I've gained throughout university to students! Having just been a student, I understand fully the difficulty in balancing academics and extracurriculars. I would ensure that classes are well-planned and comprehensible, with attainable goals based on your individual learning style. I would create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and focus on your holistic development (both academics and careers).

I am capable of teaching any core modules- Tort Law, Contract Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Land Law. I am also capable of teaching the following elective modules- Public International Law, Employment Law, Intellectual Property Law and Law and Medicine. I would build lessons based off of the material you have been given at your institutions, with my own notes added to make it richer with information and more digestible!
