I tend to make my lessons as interactive as possible. I will create short quizzes, wordsearches, and games that will recap key topics on the subject. This makes learning more entertaining, and will hopefully help the student memorise key facts.
I also have documents containing notes, tips and templates for writing essays. I will happily go through these with the student to help them feel more confident while writing their exams. I also have PowerPoints full of information.
I have tutored online in the past on a website called My Tutor. My lessons varied depending on the student, but they were useful every time. Sometimes I went through practice exams, other times we looked at example answers together. By doing this, the student became more accustomed to the layout of the exams.
I can teach KS3, GCSE and A-level English Literature and Language.
