Hello, I am the teacher Rosana, I am understanding, I like to create a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere in the classroom and at school; I like my students to feel confident and learn so that they can be successful.My method is essentially communicative, focused on the needs of the student. I consider that the four skills (speaking, reading, writing and understanding) are basic in the language. My classes are interesting and fun and go hand in hand with grammatical structures.I have been a teacher of Spanish as a second language for more than 15 years and I love my job. I am always researching new techniques, materials, games, to make my class more effective and fun.
The language is like a living being, it is always changing, that is why I need to be informed and motivated to offer examples and common experiences. The vocabulary focuses on the realities we experience every day: work, school, friends, family, health, travel, home, what I like, what I don't like, my dreams, etc.
n my classes I work with a personal project for each student. The subject is chosen by the student himself, according to his concerns and tastes. He researches it in different sources, prepares his presentation, and at the end shares it with the class. I consider such a project to be very useful and meaningful for both the student and the teacher. In addition, it is a wonderful opportunity to put into practice the structures learned, the practice of skills and the socialization of personal skills.
