My name is Rosalie, I have been studying Korean for over 6 years and have spent 1 year abroad in South Korea where I also picked up valuable teaching experience. I am well versed in the language and it is my passion to share this knowledge with others. I teach Korean to beginners whether you are completely new to the language or whether you are an upper beginner trying to bridge the gap to intermediate. With me you can expect to learn and practise Hangul, basic grammar, sentence structure and everyday vocabulary. We will also cover different aspects of Korean culture and etiquette and how they relate to the language.

My teaching style is relatively informal, with a focus on making your language learning journey as interesting (and hopefully as fun!) as possible.
Depending on the student's level and goals I will prepare different materials and a variety of media whilst making it as interactive as possible so that the students can practise the language. The general format of my lessons is: Slideshow - Activity - Review. However, I am an adaptable teacher who will change the format to best suit the student or the purpose of the lesson.
